We all take responsibility for our environment, because each of us leaves his or her footprint on this earth.

What this footprint looks like depends solely on our behavior.
Therefore, it is important to us to combine the advantages of our BEUTELWOLF with the awareness for sustainability and the environment in order to support our children not only in the present, but also to leave them an intact and healthy planet in the future.

Therefore, we use only renewable raw materials for the BEUTELWOLF to make our products as sustainable and environmentally friendly as possible.

Organic certification of the cotton

Our BEUTELWOLF is made from 100% GOTS certified organic cotton and then treated without bleach substances and chemicals, which benefits not only the user, but also the environment.

✓ The soil fertility of the organic cotton fields is better preserved through careful soil management and without the use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides. Thus, the pollution of soils and waters is reduced to a minimum. In addition, the yield capacity of the soil is ensured in the long term and future generations of our raw material suppliers also have a good chance of high-yield harvests and a reduced health risk as a result.

✓ Our cotton farmers not only receive an organic premium, but also multi-year purchase contracts. The producers can thus be granted a sufficient and regular income.

✓ Textiles made from organic cotton contain no additives and are therefore less likely to cause allergies or skin irritations.

The heart of our Beutelwolf - the heating pad made from 100% natural and renewable raw materials.

Moor is a natural product that has been used as a remedy since time immemorial. Peat products are therefore considered to be particularly effective and well tolerated. The valuable raw material for our filling is extracted from the Schwerin Moor in a very environmentally friendly manner by our supplier using a historic narrow-gauge railway.

The freshly obtained raw material is then processed into a medicinal moor paste, so the valuable essential plant parts and humic acids can develop their full effect.

To fill our heat pads, we use peat from a raised bog, which is said to have better thermal conductivity and heat storage than other peats. The low pH value and the high proportion of humic acids in raised bog peat have a positive effect on the immune system. The antibacterial peat effect makes the skin smooth and clean, the metabolism is stimulated and the vegetative nervous system is stimulated. The filling in combination with a cover made of pure natural rubber results in the heat cushion of our BAGWOLF, or as we call it: the heart.

However, whether our moors will survive in the long term certainly does not depend on the health use of the raw material. Rather, the responsible handling of each individual person with the resource of nature will be decisive for their continued existence. That is why our suppliers and we attach great importance to sustainability.

In order to minimize our CO2 footprint, we consciously rely on regional suppliers and short transport routes.
